Hobbies
Outside of software, I spend most of my creative time around tabletop RPGs: running games, designing adventures, and building community spaces where people can reliably find a table. I also like experimenting with automation and AI-assisted workflows for practical projects.
Dungeons & Dragons
I enjoy the full loop of the hobby: worldbuilding, encounter design, and collaborative storytelling. I tend to run games with a "player-first" mindset and focus on making it easy for new players to get started.
What I like most
- Worldbuilding and long-running story arcs
- Session facilitation and improvisation
- Designing one-shots and reusable modules
- Helping new players onboard quickly
How it overlaps with my engineering
- Building tools and workflows that reduce scheduling friction
- Creating lightweight systems for event signups and coordination
- Automation for repetitive community ops tasks
Smokebomb Studios
Smokebomb Studios is my community-building outlet: a platform centered on tabletop RPGs in India, spanning online play, learning resources, and IRL events. The goal is simple: make it easier for people to discover TTRPGs, find consistent games, and meet the local community.
Current focus
- Living Chronicles: a plug-and-play campaign format where multiple DMs contribute to a shared world, so players can drop in when they are free.
- IRL events: conventions and city events that bring players together around a shared storyline.
